After having braces while younger, and then having my wisdom teeth removed, I had a lot of shifting that Invisalign was simply not doing the trick to counter. "Who would have thought an 11 year old would be excited about getting braces? My daughter walked into Dr. Hendrix office reluctant and scared and by the time we left, she was at ease, she felt confident, and she is so excited to start this journey. The staff is phenomenal. So nice. So comforting. We walked in for a consultation and left with an appointment in exactly 7 days to get her braces put on. Dr. Hendrix came highly recommended by many of my colleagues and they were not wrong. Our second child recently had her braces removed (third still in braces) and we are absolutely delighted with the results. "I am in my fifties and I have always felt a little self-conscious about my teeth to the point that I avoided an open-mouth smile. My dentist encouraged me to still look into it and recommended Dr. Hendrix as one of the premier orthodontists in the area.While I was a little apprehensive about wearing braces at my age, I found the overall process much less painful and cumbersome than expected. Very few people even noticed I was wearing them, unless I mentioned it myself. More importantly, the end result after my 2-year journey far exceeds my expectations. In addition, I never thought we would be to achieve this great result without the need to pull any teeth.Patience, great attention to detail from the team and systematically following the plan set out by Dr. Hendrix turned out to be the main ingredients to get to this point.Dr. Hendrix professionalism, positive attitude and generosity with his time, is also reflected in his team, ranging from everybody at reception to the different orthodontic hygienists.My experience shows that, with the right team and guidance, the hurdle to doing something about your teeth it isn’t nearly as high as I thought. Before arriving to Hendrix Orthodontics, my mind was filled with memories of classmates struggling with braces all through middle school and high school. "I went to Dr. Hendrix in 6th grade to begin the braces process, and of course I went in scared, but from the office, to the assistants, to even the little things like the points you can earn and "cash in" to the alleviated boredom with a provided iPad to simply how gently and courteous Dr. Hendrix was, he took me through two sets of braces over the course of a couple year, and his overall practice is what convinced me to pursue orthodontics in college. 10/10 would recommend."
